Mitchell Shire Council is considering a proposal for a new entertainment complex including a cinema, bowling alley, X-Golf facility and video games area in Seymour.
According to plans submitted to council, the double-storey complex on the western side of Tallarook St would be able to host up to 60 people on the ground floor and 149 people in the cinema complex on the second storey.
The venue would cater for a total of 249 patrons.
The business has applied for a liquor license that runs until midnight. There would also be food available.
The proposed location of the complex is 13 Tallarook St, a block that has been vacant for a decade, and 8 Alexander St, which includes a single-storey dwelling which would be demolished to make way for the project.
The plans submitted to the council propose 29 on-site car parking spaces and an additional 39 car parking spaces at 122 Eliza St.
Council will take into account various reports commissioned into the proposed venue, including noise and acoustics reports, compliance with building regulations, waste management reports, zoning requirements and more to ensure compliance with council regulations.
If approved, the new entertainment complex could become a popular destination for residents and visitors alike, providing a range of activities and entertainment options for the community.
