This year's show promises to be a bumper affair, with a full-day program of rural show events, attractions and fun activities for the whole family.
There will be horse events all day, including competitions for open classes, show jumping, show hunter and a number of others.
There will also be a full poultry schedule for the day.
Admission to the show will be $15 for adults.
For children (10-16) and aged pensioners who show their card, entry is $5. Children under 10 get in free with an accompanying adult.
Everyone who pays for entry will receive a ticket into the lucky gate prize, which must be placed in a barrel at either the secretary’s office or horse entry tent.
The winner will claim a two-night stay in a premium cabin at Kismet Riverside in Howlong.
Attractions to complement the traditional rural show activities include a range of family-friendly entertainment options.
There will be the Hay Ho Animal Nursery from Albury for all the kids who want to get close to the cute animals.
There will also be fun activities run by Fizzics Education, face painting with Cheeky Smiles Face Painting and rides and show bags from the Victorian Showmen’s Guild.
For those wanting to dress in their Sunday best and strut their stuff, there’s the Junior Show Goers’ competitions.
Competitions will also be held to determine the show ambassador, leader and achievers.

In preparation for show weekend, the Berrigan Show Society will host a working bee at the showgrounds this weekend.
The work will get under way from 9am this Saturday, and the committee is inviting as many people as possible to be involved as “hands make light work”.
