Each individual was selected for their dedication to their studies and for consistently showing a desire to positively contribute to the college’s culture.
Koby Withers: school captain
Koby Withers said he wanted to become a school captain to help facilitate student-staff relations at CSC.
Koby believes strongly in empowering younger students to be their best and hopes his new role will help him do just that.
“I just want to be a voice for the younger kids,” he said.
Isabella de Vincentis: school captain
Isabella de Vincentis is over the moon about being named a school captain.
She hopes her new role will allow her to make a difference to her fellow students.
“I want to make everyone feel like they’re welcomed at school and that they have a place,” she said.
Paulie Degei: vice-captain
Paulie Degei has always wanted to be someone that people could turn to for assistance, which is why he went for the role of vice-captain.
With a bubbly personality, Paulie hopes to bring his fun-spirited nature to his new role and make 2024 a year to remember.
“I want to make it fun for the kids but also the teachers as well,” he said.
“Make it a fun year.”
Nikita Carrol: vice-captain
This is the second student leadership role in as many months for Nikita Carrol.
The 2023 band leader is naturally excited about becoming a 2024 vice-captain and hopes to use her new position to give a voice to students either through liaising with staff or by boosting the confidence of her fellow students.
“I really want students that might not feel like they have a voice to have a voice in the school, whether that be through us or whether they create their own voice,” she said.
