More progressive vote calculations have been shared for the Greater Shepparton City Council election race.
Following initial postings of the early state of the election battles in Balaclava, Goulburn River and Kialla wards, updates have been disseminated for both the Lower Goulburn Ward and McEwen Ward.
Kieron Eddy is leading the way in Lower Goulburn with 1323 votes (or 46.44 per cent) after 2927 of 5120 (57.17 per cent) have been counted.
Dinny Adem is next with 23.45 per cent, from Garry Alexander (440 votes) and Santhiya Subramaniam (418).
In the two-way race for election in McEwen Ward, Steven Threlfall (1747 votes) has drawn out in front of Ben Ladson (1102).
Just over 56 per cent of the potential votes have been counted in that ward.
No further updates had been posted by Victorian Electoral Commission scrutineers on the Balaclava, Goulburn River or Kialla wards at the time of writing — while no data was available yet for Pine Lodge Ward or Yanha Gurtji Ward.
Shane Sali leads the Balaclava Ward race with 76.30 per cent of the votes, Paul Wickham is in front in the Goulburn River Ward count with 31.35 per cent and the Kialla Ward is neck-and-neck between Anthony Brophy (34.86 per cent) and Terri Cowley (32.65 per cent).
