The aim of the strategy is to provide council with a unified approach for guiding sustainable growth, economic resilience and enhancing the viability of the economy, tourism industry and events sector.
Council director sustainable development Geraldine Christou encouraged people to have their say.
“We will be seeking feedback via a survey, as well as holding stakeholder workshops. Keep an eye out for more information on how you can be involved,” she said.
“The focus of the strategy is to identify opportunities to promote investment, visitation and economic growth, all within a constantly changing domestic and international economic landscape.”
