Artists and art lovers came together Thursday last week to officially open the first exhibition in the Edward River Art Society’s new home.

The Multi Arts Centre in Cressy St, Deniliquin currently showcases works created by relatively new Deni resident Mel Anderson.

A soiree-style event was hosted, which ERAS said was well supported.

The Mel Anderson Exhibition will run through until October 31, and the artist will be conducting clay handbuilding workshops on Saturdays throughout the exhibition.

The gallery is open from 10am to 3pm Wednesday to Saturday.
