Cobram hosting the North East Stake Park series

Cobram will be hosting the North East Stake Park series on October 8, a chance for locals to impress with bike, scooter or skateboard skills.

Cobram Skate Park will host the event, where the competition will feature skate, scooter, and BMX events.

The Skate Park League competitions across Victoria are a chance for community-based grassroots events focused on embracing skate park culture to bring the community together.

The events encourage participation and ensure everyone has an even chance to win a prize.

All competitors will go in the draw to win a raffled prize.

Helmets must be worn be all competitors.

Times for each event are:

Skate 11am (10-and-under, 13-and-under, 16-and-under, open);
BMX 12.30pm (13-and-under, open);
Scooter 1.30pm (10-and-under, 13-and-under, 16-and-under, open).
Male and female divisions for each.

Event partners include the Moira Shire Council, YMCA Victoria, Victorian Skateboard Association, Skate Australia, AusCycling, Goliath, Fast Times, Element, Skater Maps, Rampfest, Scooter Hut, Root Industries, Grit Scooters, Crisp Scooters, Aztek Scooters, District Scooters, Phoenix Scooters, Striker Scooters and Drone Scooters.

Times are just a guide and will be flexible with all presentations and prizes at the end of the day.
