Cobram District Health Ladies Auxiliary fundraiser a big hit

More than 100 people turned out to enjoy a movie and afternoon tea recently at a fundraiser hosted by Cobram District Health Ladies Auxiliary.

The fundraiser was held at the Cobram Community Cinema and featured a movie and Devonshire tea.

A club spokesperson said the next auxiliary fundraiser would be the ever popular Card and Games Day.

“This will be held at the Barooga Sports Bowls Club on Snell Rd,” the spokesperson said.

The cost is $25 per head and includes a delicious lunch, afternoon tea and lucky door prize.

“Come solo or bring a group of friends and your favourite card or board game,” the spokesperson said.

“Many thanks to the ladies’ auxiliary for their ongoing volunteer efforts in raising money for the health service.”

All proceeds go to resources to support the hospital and residential aged care.
