This free event, held at J&K Picture Framing, 16 William St, Cobram, will showcase photographs by the owner, Kristy Ashcroft.
“The photographs I am exhibiting are all my photography and are a mixture of landscape shots,” she said.
The photos will feature local Cobram areas, along with beautiful sites from the Mornington Peninsula and vibrant Melbourne.
Ms Ashcroft said she was inspired to host the showcase, as exhibitions are a rarity in Cobram.
The exhibition is on Friday, June 14 from 6pm and Saturday, June 15 from 9am to 12pm. Light refreshments will be available.
On Friday, enjoy a special flute performance by Kristy Ashcroft’s daughter, Jessie.
The showcase will also feature the launch of new merchandise from The Mug Shop and Empty Frame Range, plus a resin demonstration on Saturday at 10am.
For Ms Ashcroft, photography has been a lifelong passion.
“I am drawn to photography because I become more mindful, and it makes me stop and appreciate my surroundings and the beauty all around us,” she said.
As for anyone wanting to come along, Ms Ashcroft said they shouldn’t hesitate.
“Come along and enjoy framing, photography and fluting,” she said.
