To celebrate 100 days of Foundation at Strathmerton Primary School, class teacher Glenice Sefton asked her students to come to school dressed as a 100-year-old person on Friday, September 10.
School principal Geoff Weppner said delays as a result of the coronavirus pandemic had not dampened the event.
”Under normal circumstances, our Prep students would have had their 100 days at school celebration early in term three, but with the remote learning periods during the year, we’ve just achieved that important milestone this week,” he said.
“However, that certainly didn’t dampen their enthusiasm and enjoyment of their special day.”
He said the novel idea was a winner with the children and parents had done a great job helping with the costumes.
