The Cobram Anglican Grammar School student scored a perfect score on his VCE General Mathematics exam.
The Year 9 student sat in with his older peers during the examination period.
Cedric, who revised for two to three hours each day, said he gave it his best shot and hoped for the best.
“I wasn’t sure what score I was going to get,” he said.
“I was thinking, how much time do I have? And would I be able to complete it in time?
“There’s a lot of competition in the VCE subjects.”
He said he wanted to thank all his teachers and his family for their support.
Principal Keith Willett said he was proud of Cedric’s achievement and of the teachers who guided him before his exam.

Cedric said he was surprised to find that he had scored perfectly — with 50 out of 50.
General Mathematics was Cedric’s very first VCE subject. He said the problem-solving aspect of coding and programming was his favourite part.
He said he felt nervous as he sat down to complete his exam, surrounded by Year 12 students.
“I didn’t think I would be able to achieve a perfect score,” he said.
“But if you put in time at home, then you’ll be able to complete the work.”
