On Tuesday, December 17, Baby Bunting at Riverside Plaza in Kialla will be the site of the ‘Coffee with a Cop and Car Seat Checks’ event, allowing parents and caregivers to have their child restraint systems checked by qualified professionals for peace of mind.
“Ensuring child car seats are properly installed is crucial for the safety of our community,” council's director of community Louise Mitchell said.
“It is wonderful to see the community coming together again to prioritise the wellbeing of our youngest passengers.”
At the event, attendees can relax and chat with local police officers, learn about car and booster seat safety, and access advice and resources on road safety.
Additionally, free activities will be available for kids, keeping them entertained while adults buckle down on important safety checks.
Greater Shepparton City Council has organised this event in partnership with Victoria Police Shepparton Proactive Unit, Baby Bunting Shepparton, Early Learning Association Australia, and Road Safe Goulburn Valley.
Coffee with a Cop and Car Seat Checks is on Tuesday, December 17, from 9.30am to 2pm at Baby Bunting in Riverside Plaza, 8025 Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla.
