The playground in Tom Collins Dve, behind Aquamoves, was flooded in October as water from the nearby Goulburn River spilled.
The playground had been closed since, only reopening at 5pm on Wednesday, December 7.
City of Greater Shepparton Council workers and contractors have replaced the flood-damaged soft fall and sand areas, pressure washed equipment and generally cleaned up the site since the flood.
One piece of playground equipment, however, has been temporarily fenced off due to damage from the floodwater.
Council is looking forward to having this piece of equipment replaced in the near future by playground contractors.
