Hosted at the Jack Eddy Oval, Moama, each program is designed to introduce and teach children more about Australian Rules Football in a safe and social environment.
Both events are delivered by AFL experts who guide players, aged between four and eight for Auskick and eight and 12 for Superkick, on how to play the game while having fun.
Auskick participants will learn how to handball, kick and mark, while Superkick is more game focused and can act as a pathway for junior football development
Superkick also includes a draft combine to test player agility, and both programs host mini-matches after initial training.
Other activities are also on offer, including colouring in and musical chairs.
The action kicks off for one day on Thursday, September 26 from 9.00am–3.00pm at the Jack Eddy Oval on Perricoota Rd, Moama.
Both Auskick and Superkick have optional all girls groups, but are otherwise organised as a mixed group.
Parents can leave their children at the programs if they provide written consent to organisers.
The event costs $50, with more information available at the Auskick and Superkick links at https://play.afl/ or by emailing participation co-ordinator Kevin Monaghan at kevin.monaghan@afl.com.au.
