Even without local horse racing to watch, people turned out in good numbers to support the Deniliquin Racing Club on Saturday.

Heavy rain on Thursday night, resulting in standing water on the racing track on Friday, forced the cancellation of racing.
But all the trackside entertainment went ahead as planned, with droves of people making their way to the racecourse to enjoy them.
