Mr Johnson is touring Victoria to celebrate the release of his new book, Dear Mum, a collection of letters to mothers and mother figures in an effort to celebrate the importance of mothers and raise funds for cancer research.
He will be in Cobram's Ritchies IGA car park on Saturday, April 17, from 1 pm to 2.30 pm.Cobram Ritchies IGA manager Mandy Hawke said Ritchies was a partner of the charity.
“All the staff are excited and it will be good to have something back in Cobram again,” she said.
“Ritchies are all about supporting the community and charities like this.”
Mr Johnson was originally scheduled to visit Cobram last year, but COVID-19 restrictions prevented him from travelling.
Cobram IGA is also holding a raffle to raise funds for the charity.
Tickets cost $2 each or $3 for five.
