Police said between October 9 and 13, unknown offenders cut a fence to gain entry to the rear yard before attempting to steal the ATV.
● A Honda quad bike and battery charger were stolen from a property in Campbell Rd, Cobram, on October 13.
● A Yamaha TTR110 motorcycle and other property was stolen on October 16 from a property on Numurkah Rd, Strathmerton.
● Police arrested two youths on Punt Rd on October 16 in relation to thefts from local stores. They will attend court in November.
● Between October 9 and 12 a burglary occurred at Dharnya Aboriginal Cultural Centre located in Barmah National Park. Inquiries are ongoing.
● The cause of a caravan fire on October 14 at a property in Lawford St, Barmah, is unknown. Police said the caravan was unoccupied.
● Between October 12 and 14, a garage wall was damaged at a property in Pine St, Numurkah.
● Numurkah police are investigating after offenders damaged the fence of a property in Tweedle St, Numurkah, October 14.
● Cobram police are investigating instances of hoon driving in Moira and are seeking public assistance in identifying offenders doing burnouts on roads in the region.

● Cobram Highway Patrol is reminding drivers that schools are now operating in Moira Shire, and drivers should follow school zone speed limits at all relevant times.
● There is evidence from vehicles that have been broken into that offenders are looking for keys left in the vehicle.
Do not leave your vehicle unlocked and the keys in the vehicle, including behind the visor, under floor mats etc.
If you do, it is an invitation for offenders to steal your vehicle.
Do not leave keys in the vehicle when parked, even if there are passengers in the vehicle. A desperate thief may take the opportunity to steal the vehicle.
Ensure your vehicles are locked when parked.
