With the closure of the Victoria-NSW border from 11.59 pm on Tuesday, cars passed through at a sporadic rate from about 9.15 am to 9.45 am on Wednesday, with no vehicles turned away during that period.
Cars entering Victoria from Barooga were not stopped by officials manning the post, with NSW police only halting north-bound traffic leaving Victoria.
It was earlier reported that only a handful of vehicles passed through the road block during the first half hour — and not a single car was refused access between midnight and 12.30 am.
