Greater Shepparton City Council is conducting its 2023-24 first-quarter Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey, which will run from September 16 to October 4.
The survey is conducted via computer-assisted telephone interviewing, with randomly selected residents aged 18 and above encouraged to share their thoughts on the council and its services.
All responses are confidential and grouped with others.
The research resource firm Thinkfield will conduct phone surveys to provide the council with feedback on whether it meets community expectations for its services.
The previous year’s survey results showed positive results, with the second-highest overall performance rating since records began in 2012.
Council director of corporate services Chris Teitzel said the survey was helpful for the council to gather impressions on its service delivery.
“The survey gathers impressions on the services, facilities and activities council provides, and is great insight into the ways council can improve its service delivery,” Mr Teizel said.
He also encouraged residents to participate and offer honest opinions on the council’s services and performance.
