‘Tis the season of hustle and bustle, but the Cobram Lions Club are here to help. The relaxing atmosphere at Federation Park offers the perfect backdrop for a night of music, stalls and activities. In addition to the twilight market, there’ll be food trucks galore, or attendees can feast on a picnic on the lawn. Plus, they can enjoy a visit from Santa Claus himself.

Side-splitting laughter awaits as multi-award-winning stand-up comedian Troy Kinne presents his latest masterpiece, Made Wrong. Our close-knit community is about to get closer, with a chance to come together and learn to crochet. At MOVE, instructors will guide you through the basics and get you started on your first granny square. The possibilities are endless – go on to craft a cozy rug, stylish scarf, or funky jacket. Yahoobar 25-year reunion
Former venue Yahoobar raised the bar for Shepparton’s nightlife scene, and now it’s returning for one night only. Its founder, Damian Murdoch, plans to celebrate what would’ve been its 25th anniversary this weekend. Saturday is a night at the old bar (now Downtown) featuring one of Australia’s best DJs, Andy Vann. On Sunday, a gathering to recuperate will be hosted at Belcibo & Co. All are welcome to attend.

Chip in for Craig
The Goulburn Valley golf community is chipping in for Mooroopna Golf Club’s well-loved club manager Craig Prothero. Craig has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer and has just taken his formative steps on the recovery route. The day will feature an 18-hole stableford with a shotgun start at 9am, nearest-to-the-pin, putting competitions, and a raffle with a stack of prizes. All funds raised on the day will go towards the GoFundMe page to support the Prothero family.

Carols by Candlelight
Joy to the Greater Shepparton community, the 49th annual Carols by Candlelight has arrived. Each year, the popular event brings families and friends together for an evening of festivities, carols performed by talented local artists and an array of delicious food and drinks available for purchase. BYO rug, chair, pillow or blanket. Most importantly, ‘tis the season of mosquitoes, so remember to apply insect repellent.
