A new lease on life: J&J Equipment Hire owner Steve Royals at 129 Wimble St with RHS Steel for sale.
There was a mixture of relief and satisfaction as J&J Equipment Hire completed its move to 129 Wimble St, Seymour, at the weekend.
The business is now operating from the building which previously housed Seymour Car Care and, according to owner Steve Royals, the move provides the perfect platform for the company’s next chapter.

“It’s going to enhance the potential for the business to move forward in the future and service the community long term,” Mr Royals said.
“It will make a much more manageable location where we'll be with better facilities.
“We want to basically do what we've been doing. We want to do a little bit better, a bit more comfortably.”
Mr Royals, who has owned the business since 2017 with his wife Katrina, is looking forward to continuing to work with the Seymour community.
“They're all community-minded people. And most people are very appreciative for what we're doing and appreciate any advice that we were able to give them on how to utilise the equipment,” he said.
“They like that more country aspect to their hires. You hear some things about the hire companies in Melbourne and the city-based hire companies, that they don't get that country sort of feel about it. We try to provide that atmosphere.”
Mr Royals was born in Seymour and is excited about how the business can contribute to the town’s continued growth and development.
“There’s a great deal of change within the town and it’s nice to have a business that's hoping to help the town grow within its requirements,” he said.
