Division 1 were comfortably beaten on two rinks and were beaten 45 shots to 65 by Tongala.
The teams of Peter Chadderton and Simon Chisholm were always trailing before suffering similar losses, 12-26 and 10-23 respectively.
Jamie Shields then skipped his side including Carly Crothers, Peter Todd and Dallas Kitchin to a comfortable 23-16 win, but it wasn’t nearly enough to prevent the overall 20 shot defeat.
Division 2 scored a solid win over Tongala, 73 shots to 61, and kept their place in the top four.
Steve King’s rink lost 17-28, while David Hessel skipped his side to a one shot victory.
The difference in the match was the combination of Tyler Hillier, Andrew Holloway, Paul Snare and Craig Hillier (skip) who recorded a thumping 33-11 win, to ensure the overall 12 shot margin.
Division 3 suffered their second narrow defeat in successive matches when they were beaten by a solitary shot by Moama Black, 57-58.
Keith Hay’s side went down 12-20, while Mark Law’s crew came up just short when they were beaten 23-26.
Tom Todd skipped his harem including Robyn Little, Dawn McCulloch and Maxine Norton to a convincing 22-12 win, but it fell agonisingly short of preventing the one shot deficit.
Division 5 continued on their merry way with a good win against Lockington, 48 shots to 37.
Lee Pattinson’s rink was beaten 15 shots to 24, but Col Knuckey skipped his team of Noel Murray, Bill Young and Tony King to a resounding victory, 33 shots to 13, and claimed the overall 11 shot victory.
