Semifinal round played Thursday, Nov 21, Andrew Hirst defeated Tom Hynes 25/19, Andrew now plays Klive Liverton.
Some matches are overdue but are scheduled to play this week.
A few of our bowlers have been competing in District events and now have catch-up Club matches to play.
Mens Pairs Semi Final game played Thursday evening, Wayne Lee and Rod Garthwaite defeated Brian Houlihan and Razz 19/10.
Wayne and Garthy are in the final round. They await unplayed matches.

All teams played their games away on Tuesday. Corowa Civic came away with two wins and a loss. A1 played their game at Kiewa and had a very close game, and winning by 1 shot on the last end by Michele’s rink. Corowa Civic 2 defeated Club Mulwala by 14 shots, Corowa Civic 1 lost their game against Commercial Club by 19 shots.

A2 played their game at Commercial and lost by 6 shots, B3 played away at Lavington this weekend and lost by 16 shots, B2 game was to be at home against St. James, but unfortunately St. James forfeited due to a lack of players.

Club Mixed Pairs
During the week another round of the Club Mixed Pairs was played between John White and Sue Dawson against Ian Bilney and Judy Willett, a good close game with Ian and Judy coming away as winners.
Sunday two more rounds were played between Ian and Caroline Lewis against John Dalgleish and Annette Norman, this game was won by John and Annette on the last end by 2 shots.
In the other game between Peter Howell and Maree Lewis against Adam Corcoran and Eileen Ide was another tight game, with Adam and Eileen winning by one shot. On Friday in the Ladies Club Singles a game between Marie Lewsey and Maree Lewis took place, with the score being so close for much of the game, Maree came out winner. In the Men’s Club Singles Frank Martin took on Ian Lewis, Ian got off to a very good start, but Frank was able to slowly claw back, but ran out of time, and Ian came away winner on the day.
On Sunday morning Ian Bilney played his game against Paul Hickey, this game was also very close with Ian coming away with the victory.
Corowa Indoor Carpet Bowls
Sunday’s winners on 15 and 14 (29) were Merylyn Milthorpe, Jan Webber, Angela Clapton, and Anne Smith. With the runners-up getting 5 and 16 (21); And they were Gwen Mills, Peter Manning, and Kerry Whalley.
Then on Tuesday afternoon our winners on 18 and 16 (34) were Gwen Mills, Peter Manning, and Anne Smith. The runners-up on 15 and 15 (30) were Helen Bartel, Glenda Willett, and Dawn Sander.
And with a grand turnout on Thursday, our winners on 16 and 20 (36) were, Betty Clancy, Tony Coppolino, and Joe Carnivale. With the runners-up on 16 and 17 (33) being Angela Clapton, Jan Webber, and Peter Manning.
