As we sit back and reflect on the past year, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for our community's kindness and support.
One year ago today (29/11/23), our home was unexpectedly inundated with water due to a storm, leaving us with devastating losses.
But what could have been a desperate time was instead marked by the incredible generosity of our community.
From temporary accommodation provided by the Peers family to the wonderful woman who gifted us a Christmas tree, we were blown away by the outpouring of support.
The donations, furniture, clothing, and toys we received helped us get back on our feet.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every person who contributed to our recovery.
Your kindness, compassion, and generosity have inspired us and reminded us of the true spirit of community.
We are thrilled to have been able to purchase a home. We are grateful for the good fortune that has come our way.
Once again, thank you to the Deniliquin community for your unwavering support.
