From Aspendale, in south-east Melbourne, the pair of travellers and their chocolate labrador ‘Chocolicious’ - ‘Choco’ for short - have ticked off 18 of Victoria’s 29 silo locations already.
They said they had to come to Deni after hearing about our famous painted water tower.
They said they have been brought to many interesting towns and places along their journey, keen to spend money in the local economies.
Highlights so far have included the stick shed in Muroa and the various artworks.
While unsure if they’ll tick all 29 off their list, the Wrights said they have been thoroughly enjoying their travels and were enjoying their stop in Deniliquin.
We met the travellers at the Peppin Heritage Centre.
If out and about, keep an eye out for the Wrights on their silo travels inspiring others with the travel bug to explore our country.
